The world is in chaos. The Guild’s losing its grip and the Empire is resurgent. Now is the time to strike and take our nation to its proper place on the world stage. — Margaret Belle
The King”s Empire stretches across the British Isles and includes strong presences in foreign territories such as India. Though it was originally the home of the Guild, the Empire has since freed itself from the yoke of oppression and now seeks to stand on its own. With the deluge over London and the onslaught of the Gibbering Hordes, the King”s Empire has mobilized its forces and now heads to war.
Đang xem: Kings empire
The King”s Empire utilizes its global presence and strength of arms to help shape the fate of Earth. Using well-trained troops and advanced firearms, the King”s Empire will give no ground. An Empire army specializes in long range firepower and cunning tactics to defeat those who oppose them.
The King”s Empire goes to Glory by killing enemy Fireteams, and their powerful guns help ensure this happens.
They are able to use their guns in melee, albeit at a penalty, and they can even use them on the run as part of the Charge Order. This means a Squad Fireteam like the Empire Dragoons could move 20″ and then shoot 14″. That”s a 34″ threat range!
It”s also important not to overlook the powerful Hail of Gunfire Trigger. All of their melee and missile actions have this Trigger added to them. This Trigger gives out Pinned Tokens, reducing enemy movement, and cutting off Reinforcements.
Charles Edmonton is not someone you trifle with. He is a canny sniper who was present in the battle of London, and he is prepared to fight for his country until the end.
Edmonton does not specialize in killing a large number of troops, but enemy Commanders have learned to fear him. Piercing means he flips two cards on a Penetration flip and takes the better one, and he can always trigger Headshot. This gives his action Precise, which means that enemy Commanders can”t use nearby troops to absorb the blow (they will instead rely on their Assets).
Charles Edmonton does not change his tune when he goes to Glory, he just gets better at it. He increases the range of those near him. He gets better with his gun. Charles knows what he is good at, and capitalizes on it.
Perhaps most importantly, he has the ability, with “Where”d He Go?” to move up to 16″. If he hits his Snapshot trigger, he can even take a shot after. This gives him a potential two shots a turn and movement… Enemy Commanders live in fear!
Margaret is fast. It”s part of what makes her such an effective spy. She is able to easily move around the battlefield. Her Poisoned Knife lets her cut through squads or Commanders with equal ease, cutting the enemy down in a blur.
When she needs to, Margaret dials it to eleven. Backstab can shut down a target between denying Cheating and adding a Shaken Token, opening them up to an absolutely brutal knifing. It is not an activation you”ll soon forget.
Going to Glory, Margaret adds new triggers to her actions, ensuring that they will end her foe. This includes the ability to take a particularly pesky combatant out of Glory, making its demise all the more likely.
Belle also adds one new Action, allowing her to draw two cards. Sometimes, there”s nothing to Backstab, and this handy action can be a mid-turn boon.
Kassa Okoye is an engineer, who will keep your Titans running, and increase their power significantly. Her Spare Parts gives you resources when systems go down on Friendly Titans, and her Divert Power makes them more powerful.
Using her Modified Machine Gun she can also keep the enemy at a distance by providing pinned tokens and putting out some damage.
Upon going to Glory, Kassa is able to repair the Titans she wants to bring. If, despite her best efforts, a Titan does go down she can immediately grab one of her Stratagems to punish the foolish enemies who would strike against her machines.
